Alder Grill/Roasting Veneer (0.56mm thick)

- Wood is the latest trend for preparing exquisite dishes. Fish, meat, and vegetables can be prepared on this beech wood veneer.
- Veneer is thinly sliced wood without additives, which is wrapped around the food and then cooked on the grill or in the oven. The advantages of this cooking method are versatile. The food is enclosed by the wood, keeping it juicy. Beechwood imparts an aromatic, pleasantly smoky flavor to your dishes.
- It's possible to soak the wood in wine or whisky before use to add additional flavor notes.
- The grill veneer can be placed directly on the grill grate over the heat. The food can also be served directly on the wood.
Instructions:
- Rinse the veneer briefly with warm water before use, add wine and other desired flavors as needed. At the same time, include fine threads (sausage threads/sausage twine/natural fibers) in the water. (These are not included in the package!) These will later be used to hold the food in shape. Place the food in the center of the veneer and tie the "package" together with the moist thread. This allows for cooking the food through indirect heat. For grills that can be closed, it's ideal to cover the lid to achieve good results.
- For example, fish can be cooked in 7-15 minutes, depending on its thickness.
