Red Oak, - veneer

|default:Red Oak, - veneer|default:.NAME

The red oak is a North American species of oak, but has also been found in Europe for around 200 years. Compared to the white oak, red oaks are larger and less overgrown than their relatives. Red oak is used in the furniture and door industry. It is often used for fronts, whereby, paradoxically, extremely light-coloured trunks reminiscent of white oak are sought.
Red oak veneer is characterised by its reddish to rose-coloured tones. The striking, coarse grain gives furniture and wall panelling a rustic character.
