Yellow Birch

|default:Yellow Birch|default:.NAME

The name of the yellow birch refers to the bark rather than the wood. Yellow birch trees form a brown core, but birch trees with a small core are sought after for veneer production.
Despite its name, the veneer of this North American birch tends to have a light, almost white to cream-coloured hue. In contrast to other birch veneers, this veneer is sliced. It is easy to process, stain and varnish.
