Bubinga African Rosewood

This tropical wood veneer comes from trees of the genus Guibourtia. Ovangkol is also obtained from the genus of these trees. The veneer is either peeled, which results in so-called ‘colourful’ bunbinga veneer, or sliced, which produces the ‘plain’ veneer.
Despite its hardness, this veneer has good mechanical processing properties. In terms of colour, it is somewhere between purple and brown, although the peeled version appears much wilder than the sliced veneer.
